Air Fryer Recipes for National Wellness Month

During National Wellness Month, we want your meals to be healthy while also being tasty! These recipes are pretty simple and require an air fryer, so if you don’t have one, you may need one. Air fryers have gained popularity the last few years and are an effective way to cook foods without using oil to help keep the fat content down. They are also safer to use since you don’t have to stand over a pan or skillet of scalding oil.

Crispy Air Fryer Pickle Chips

With football season on the horizon, this pickle chip recipe will be a great addition to your tailgate lineup. The air fryer is a key component in the crispy crust. Happy eating!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 (16 ounce) jar reduced-sodium dill pickle chips

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Creole mustard

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Air Fryer Cauliflower Tacos

Taco Tuesday can be every night with this cauliflower taco recipe! The air fryer will make sure these are extra crispy. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

For the slaw

1 cup thinly sliced red cabbage

1/2 small red onion, diced

1 jalapeño, minced

1 clove garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lime

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 1/2 cup almond milk or other non-dairy milk

1 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-size florets

1 teaspoon maple syrup

Air Fryer Chicken Breast

This versatile recipe is great on its own, or you can chop up the chicken to use in salads, casseroles or bowls. If you’re new to air frying, this recipe is a great introduction to get familiar with your new appliance.
