Spring Happenings at the Vein Center at Iowa Heart

General, Healthy Living, Leg / Vein Health

Spring is around the corner! And to help our patients get their legs looking and feeling great for warm weather, MercyOne Iowa Heart Vein Center will offer two exciting promotions beginning in March.

Discounted Vascular Screenings in March/April
Knowing your risk for vascular disease and vein/artery related issues such as lymphedema, peripheral artery disease (PAD), varicose veins, blood clots and more is so important, especially as we age and have an increased risk for some of these diseases. In March and April, Iowa Heart Center offices will discount Vascular screenings from $99 to $75. The screening will include three comprehensive tests.

During these vascular screenings, critical blood vessels in your neck area, abdomen and ankles are checked for telltale signs of restriction or weakness. If these problems are detected early, they can be treated before they become life-threatening. This painless, non-invasive and inexpensive screening could save your life.

Call us today at 1-877-413-VEIN to schedule your discounted screening in either March or April at MercyOne Iowa Heart Vein Center office most convenient for you. We have locations in West Des Moines, Ankeny, Carroll, Ames, Ottumwa, Marshalltown, Fort Dodge and Indianola.

Free Vein Screenings in Marshalltown
Beginning Friday, March 23, Jacoby Stieler, ARMP, will begin seeing patients at our Marshalltown office on the fourth Friday of each month. She will see patients for vein screenings, vascular screenings, varicose or spider vein treatment and more. Jacoby is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (FNP-C) and also holds ACLS and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

We are excited to bring this service to the Marshalltown area. Patients who would like to make an appointment with Jacoby should call 1-877-413-VEIN.
